基于连通“F形”手性超材料的非对称性传输

摘要
为了研究手性超材料非对称传输特性,设计了一种基于连通“F形”金属结构的手性超材料,利用COMSOL软件进行了数值模拟。数值模拟结果表明:当谐振频率分别为0.77 μm和0.61 μm时,非对称传输系数能够达到0.045和0.01。对其结构参数进行了优化,得到了良好的非对称性传输。该结构具有成本低、结构简单,且容易制备等优点,其对于偏振转换器、电磁开关等功能器件具有应用价值。
Abstract
In order to investigate the asymmetric transmission characteristic, of artificial electromagnetic meta-materials, a metamaterial is designed and constructed in the form of a continuous F-shaped structure. Its asymmetric transmission characteristics are analyzed by simulation. The simulated results show that the asymmetric transmission coefficient could reach 0.045 and 0.01 at around 0.77 μm and 0.61 μm respectively. In addition, in this paper, the structurel parameters of the metamaterial are optimized to obtain promising performance. The structure has many advantageous such as simple structure, low cost and easy to fabricate. It plays an important role in develop various metamaterial-based functional devices, such as polarization converter and switches.
