利用飞秒激光刻写的光纤端面光栅的研究
Investigation on Optical Fiber End Surface Grating Inscribed Directed by Femto-second Laser Pulses
摘要
基于光束耦合分析了光波导端面光栅衍射原理。飞秒激光刻写一维正弦光栅并测量衍射光的强度, 测量结果与仿真实验基本一致。利用Matlab编程仿真研究了分布不同、排列有序的折射率正弦变化二维光栅的波束整形等效果。为刻写不同折射率变化图案控制衍射光的衍射强度与衍射方向提供了理论依据。
Abstract
The operating principle of the grating in the waveguide end face was analyzed based on beam coupling. A one-dimensional sinusoidal grating was inscribed directly by femto-second laser pulses, and then, the intensity of diffracted light was measured. The measured results are consistent with the simulation. Beam shaping effects of different distribution, orderly arranged sinusoidal refractive index grating are simulated by Matlab. A theoretical basis is provided to control the intensity and the directions of the diffracted light for a different refractive index variation pattern.
