非转移与非键合的高密度Micro-LED显示器的设计与实现
Design and Implementation of Non-transferred and Non-bonded High-density Micro-LED Displays
摘要
针对微发光二极管(Micro-LED)显示屏存在的转移和键合难题, 提出一种可实现高密度Micro-LED显示屏的非转移、非键合技术设计方法, 该方法直接在蓝宝石上集成显示阵列、金属布线以及驱动器。此外, 还设计了一套可以实现图像数据采集、图像数据处理、图像显示以及显示屏散热的驱动系统。最后成功制备了分辨率为128×128的Micro-LED微显示器, 并实现了16阶灰度图像的动态显示。实验结果表明, 所提方法简易可行, 所设计驱动系统可支持显示屏的驱动显示, 并具有良好的散热解决能力。
Abstract
In view of the transfer and bonding problems of Micro-LED displays, proposed is a non-transfer and non-bonding method for high-density Micro-LED displays, which integrates display arrays, metal wiring and driver directly on the sapphire. In addition, a driving system that can realize image data acquisition, processing, image display and display heat dissipation is designed in this paper. Finally, a Micro-LED display with a resolution of 128×128 was successfully fabricated, and the dynamic display of the 16th-order grayscale image was realized. Experimental results show that the proposed method is simple and feasible, and the designed driving system can support the displayer with good heat dissipation.
