基于局部能量和邻域信息的红外与可见光图像融合
Infrared and Visible Image Fusion Algorithm Based on Regional Energy and Neighborhood Information
摘要
图像融合作为图像处理领域的一个重要分支, 已成为研究的热点问题之一。对于像素级图像融合, 多尺度多分辨率分解已被广泛应用, 但是在低频子带的处理上, 由于平均法容易导致融合图像出现模糊, 对比度下降等问题, 提出基于区域能量的低频子带融合方法; 对于高频子带, 在考虑系数本身的同时, 也考虑其邻域系数的影响。对已配准的可见光和红外源图像进行融合实验, 并对融合图像进行评价, 结果表明, 文中方法在保留图像轮廓的同时, 充分保留了图像的高频边缘及细节信息。
Abstract
Image fusion as an important branch of image processing field, has become one of the hot research issue. For pixel level image fusion, multi-scale and multi-resolution decomposition has been widely used. The low-frequency sub-band fusion method based on regional energy is proposed for the problems of fusion image fuzzy and contrast reduction from average method. For high-frequency sub-band, for considering the coefficient itself, the impact of regional coefficient is also considered. The registered visible and infrared images are fused and the fused images are evaluated. Experimental results show that while retaining the image outline, the high-frequency edge and details of the images are also fully retained.
