高性能保偏光纤制备及关键应用特性研究
Fabrication of high performance PMF and research on its key application characteristics
摘要
开发了一种高性能PMF(保偏光纤)的制造工艺,并制备出包层直径为80 μm的细径高性能PMF。试验结果表明,该光纤具有优良的全温(-50~85 ℃)偏振串音性能,光纤全温偏振串音变化典型值为3.232 dB,具有良好的抗弯曲性能和良好的端面研磨性。
Abstract
In this letter, a new manufacturing process for high-performance Polarization Maintaining Fiber (PMF) is developed and the PMF with 80 μm cladding diameter fabricated. The experimental results show that this fiber has fine polarization cross-talk performance in the temperature range from -50 to 85 ℃, with the typical cross-talk change value of 3.232 dB, and good bending resistance and abrasive fiber ends.
