法拉第旋转器均匀激光晶体径向、切向热焦距改善打孔质量

摘要
针对高功率灯泵浦棒状Nd:YAG激光器用于百微米激光打孔过程中出现的孔周围大面积光晕的现象, 从理论上分析了加入45°法拉第旋转器可以均匀激光器中激光晶体径向、切向热焦距, 减小这两个方向的热焦距差。在实验上获得了更大功率的激光输出, 并且通过打孔实验, 与未加法拉第旋转器激光打孔孔貌相比较, 打孔质量得到改善。
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to resolve the problem about black areas around the micro-hole drilled by high power rod Nd: YAG laser pumped by lamp. It is theoretically analyzed that a 45°Faraday rotator in laser resonator unifies thermal focal lengths in the radial and tangential direction of laser crystal and reduces the difference between thermal focal lengths in the two directions. Higher output laser power is experimentally achieved. Through drilling experiments, the quality of laser drilling is improved in comparison with that without 45 °Faraday rotator.
