异常色觉检测和分类经常在入职体检、异常色觉计算机辅助识别系统和颜色视觉机制基础研究中使用。对22名异常色觉者(8名绿色盲、2名红色盲、6名绿色弱、6名红色弱)进行了D-15、FM 100-Hue和Neitz色盲检查镜测验。通过比较D-15、FM 100-Hue和色盲检查镜的测验结果,指出了色相测验在异常色觉检测和分类时存在的局限性,为各个领域内异常色觉检测和分类提供了参考依据。

为研究基于不同原色光谱的显示设备对观察者颜色匹配精度和观察者间差异的影响,实验选取了6通道(R1R2G1G2B1B2)LED发光面板,并组合为4种RGB匹配原色光谱。组织了24名年龄分布在21~25岁的色觉正常观察者,以NEC-PA242W专业显示设备上呈现的6个颜色(包括白色和CIE推荐的5个颜色)为目标色开展颜色匹配实验,共采集到720个数据。用CIE1976 u'v'色品参数对颜色匹配精度进行分析,结果表明:不同观察者基于636 nm-524 nm-452 nm组合得到的配色精度更高,Δ(u', v')值为0.0062;基于636 nm-524 nm-472 nm组合得到的配色准确性较差,Δ(u',v')值为0.0084。用观察者匹配颜色的u'v'值协方差逆矩阵参数构建观察者差异色度椭圆,基于636 nm-524 nm-452 nm组合得到的椭圆平均尺寸最小,为0.0055;636 nm-508 nm-452 nm组合最大,为0.0094。结果表明,颜色匹配精度和观察者间的差异,受红通道影响较小,受蓝通道和绿通道的峰值波长位置影响较大。

研究感知亮度与光亮度、色度之间的关系,并针对激光投影电视设计了两次异色感知亮度匹配实验。实验一中基于两台具有相同参数的单色激光电视,研究了色饱和度、色调对感知亮度的影响。结果表明,当在同一色调,光亮度相同时,色饱和度越高,感知亮度越高,色饱和度变化程度对色调的系统等效亮度与光亮度比值(Lseq/L)的影响排序为蓝大于红大于绿。实验二中基于单色和双色激光投影电视,研究了不同色域对感知亮度的影响。结果表明,光亮度相同时,色域越大的电视,感知亮度越高,自然图片的Lseq/L略低于相应主色调的纯色图片。目前,激光显示从单色发展到双色、三色激光,色域得到扩展,双色、三色激光投影电视的电功率亮度转换效率比单色分别提高了3%、24%。研究结果有助于对宽色域、低功耗、高感知亮度的激光显示进行优化设计。

基于视觉心理物理学实验研究RGB-LED光源下的颜色恒常性。实验中,观察者分别在白色和红、绿、蓝、黄4种彩色的RGB-LED光源下对240个孟塞尔(Munsell)色卡进行颜色分类。实验结果表明,从白光变化到红色和绿色光源时,颜色恒常性在各颜色类别上表现均较好,与传统宽带光源下的表现接近;变化到蓝色光源时,颜色恒常性在棕、红、黄和橙色类别上表现较差;变化到黄色光源时,颜色恒常性在棕、红和橙色类别上表现较差。总体来说,红色和绿色光源下的颜色恒常性比蓝色和黄色光源下的恒常性好。实验结果可为RGB-LED光源在实际中的设计和应用提供参考。

Face recognition technology has great prospects for practical applications. Three-dimensional (3D) human faces are becoming more and more important in consideration of the limits of two-dimensional face recognition. We propose an active binocular setup to obtain a 3D colorful human face using the band-limited binary patterns (BBLP) method. Two grayscale cameras capture the BBLP projected onto the target of human face by a digital light processing (DLP) projector synchronously. Then, a color camera captures a colorful image of the human face. The benefit of this system is that the 3D colorful human face can be obtained easily with an improved temporal correlation algorithm and the precalibration results between three cameras. The experimental results demonstrated the robustness, easy operation, and the high speed of this 3D imaging setup.

在色觉异常者的颜色视觉机制研究中,实验前期需要对每个被验者的色觉类型进行检测和分类。采用常用的测验工具假同色图(石原表和标准色觉检查表),色相排列(Farnsworth D-15和Farnsworth-Munsell 100-hue测验)和定量检测工具剑桥色觉测试对7名色觉异常者(三名红色盲,一名红色弱,一名绿色盲,两名绿色弱)进行了测验。通过与色盲检查镜的测验结果相比较,分析了各测验工具在检测和分类中的优缺点。在此基础上,给出了视觉实验前期色觉异常的检测和分类步骤。

Our purpose is to report alterations in contrast sensitivity function (CSF) and in the magno, parvo and koniocellular visual pathways by means of a multichannel perimeter in case of an essential tremor (ET). A complete evaluation of the visual function was performed in a 69-year old patient, including the analysis of the chromatic discrimination by the Fansworth–Munsell 100 hue test, the measurement of the CSF by the CSV-1000E test, and the detection of potential alteration patterns in the magno, parvo and koniocellular visual pathways by means of a multichannel perimeter. Visual acuity and intraocular pressure (IOP) were within the ranges of normality in both eyes. No abnormalities were detected in the fundoscopic examination and in the optical coherence tomography (OCT) exam. The results of the color vision examination were also within the ranges of normality. A significant decrease in the achromatic CSFs for right eye (RE) and left eye (LE) was detected for all spatial frequencies. The statistical global values provided by the multichannel perimeter confirms that there were significant absolute sensitivity losses compared to the normal pattern in RE. In the LE, only a statistically significant decrease in sensitivity was detected for the blue-yellow (BY) channel. The pattern standard deviation (PSD) values obtained in our patient indicated that there were significant localized losses compared to the normality pattern in the achromatic channel of the RE and in the red-green (RG) channel of the LE. Some color vision alterations may be present in ET that cannot be detected with conventional color vision tests, such as the FM 100 Hue.

Li+-doped HoPO4 powders with a pure tetragonal phase are successfully synthesized by the co-precipitation method. It exhibits an obvious color change under sunlight and tri-phosphor fluorescent light illumination. The introduction of Li+ ions into HoPO4 can further enhance its photochromic property effectively. The doped Li+ ions induce changes in the crystal structure. The spectral characteristics and thus photochromic properties of HoPO4 are explored. The improved HoPO4 powder, when used as a photochromic material, has wide-ranging prospects in security, decoration, and other applications.

In this work, a psychophysical experiment is implemented to assess the white sensation of light-emitting diode (LED) lighting in illuminant mode via a categorical judgment method by a panel of 10 observers. The visual data indicates that the higher values of white sensation estimations locate near the Planckian locus within a correlated color temperature (CCT) range of 5000–9000 K. A model of white sensation for LED lighting in illuminant mode is proposed, from which the predicted maximal white sensation locates near the Planckian locus with a CCT of 6622 K, and the 95% white sensation covers a narrow two-dimensional region.

Abstract
A psychophysical experiment under constant stimuli is conducted on a CRT display to measure the visual suprathreshold color differences for five color centers recommended by CIE under the same five background colors. The performances of four CIELAB-based, three CIECAM02-based, and two OSA-UCS-based formulas are tested. Detailed analysis results indicate the existence of chromatic crispening effect. CIEDE2000 performs best for the gray center and gray background, whereas CAM02-LCD and CAM02-UCS have the best performance for non-neutral backgrounds. CAM02-LCD significantly outperforms all other formulas for all color centers under all background colors.
